Lara Trump Takes on Official Role in GOP
Lara Lea Trump, a former television producer, has taken on an official role in the Republican National Committee (RNC).
Trump, who is married to Donald Trump's son Eric, was endorsed for the co-chair position by former President Donald Trump. She was elected to the role in March, becoming the first daughter-in-law of a former president to hold a leadership position in the RNC.
As co-chair, Trump will help to lead the RNC's efforts to support Republican candidates and promote the party's platform. She will also play a role in fundraising and organizing events.
Trump has been a supporter of Donald Trump since his first presidential campaign in 2016. She has appeared at rallies and events on his behalf, and she has been a vocal critic of his opponents.
